Albert Heijn: Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas

No one should be alone this Christmas. Or any Christmas, for that matter. We are proud to spread this message in this Albert Heijn holiday social campaign for 2021!
For the recipe of this social campaign, we’ve gathered some familiar faces. Of course, there’s the steady component of Ilse: the most famous Supermarket Manager in the Netherlands.

Then we add pinch of soft sentiment with jazz-singer Dennis van Aarssen. The winner of Voice of Holland 2019 pays tribute to the joy of being together with a wonderful version of Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas.

And our last but not our least ingredient: the legendary Robert ten Brink. A man who needs no introduction; the go-to expert in bringing people together in Christmas spirit as the host of All You Need Is Love.

These complementary ingredients form a festive little menu to put on your social plates.

As a starter, we’ve highlighted the big Christmas heart in Albert Heijn stores where people could sign up their loved ones for a wonderful surprise and leave behind a special personal message for them. With a special video including our main ingredients, of course.

Then it was time for the main course: together with All You Need Is Love we surprised 2000 Albert Heijn customers with special Christmas care packages and touching the hearts of many. We created a video with Ilse to show this, because what better moment to show your loved ones what they mean to you than at Christmas? Spoiler: you might need some handkerchiefs.

For dessert, we added Resto VanHarte to the menu to help organize a lovely online Christmas dinner for those who don’t know how or where to celebrate Christmas this year; a very heartwarming initiative to help those in need.
